Fall Class: Oct 13, 15, 20, 22, 27 and 29th.

In Williams Lake, evening classes are held in the Studio of Bos Glassworks ( see Contact for address). The Studio has a dozen spacious work stations. Tools and grinders are available for student use. Grinders may be rented for $1.00 per day for use at home. Tools and a great selection of Art Glass can be purchased at the Studio at student prices (see Supplies). Classes are 6 evenings over 3 weeks, Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. Course fee is $85.00.

After some basic techniques, students start with a 'flat piece' approximately 10" x 10" consisting of about 10 pieces. In fact this is a small Stained Glass window and an attractive light catcher.

The second project may be a larger Stained Glass window, mirror, jewelry box, Tiffany style lamp or another project of your choice.

A soldering iron (80 or 100 Watt ) is not included in the kit but is available for $24.95. There are hundreds of colors of Stained Glass available at the Studio. Price per square foot ranges from $5 to $10, although special 'hot' colors (reds, oranges, yellows) can be more. Some projects require lead came (strips) U shape or H shape at an average of $0.35 per linear foot.

Please bring with you: a small hammer, average sized flat head screwdriver, large plastic set square, a piece of felt (approximately 1' x 2') to cut glass on.

Two additional UFO (Unfinished Objects) evenings are available at no charge to students after completion of the course. The work stations are available to students during the day as well.

Help is available during every phase of your projects from 2 instructors. Washroom facilities in the Studio. Refreshments (coffee / tea) supplied. Parking in lane or on lower level (Home Hardware).
